Yeah, when we were diagnosed (back in the Stone Age,) they thought it was a child's disorder and that one grew out of it. Now they know that ADD is a lifetime disorder. Its just easier for adults to control because we've had more social conditioning.
Check out Webmd.com. Its in English, but its a pretty thorough site. The big drug for ADD in the U.S. is Concerta. Most kids I've dealt with who had true ADD (meaning, not ADHD) were on Concerta and it did them wonders.
Tell your little one that its a backward compliment to be diagnosed with ADD. They don't call it "High IQ Syndrome" for notheing. ;)

I had developed copying mechanism but I have a lot of difficult in working in high control and burocratic places.
