I might have my books in the floor, but get this text from medieval (?) salamanca library, it looks nice in my wall:

(Translation, it is written in ancient spanish)

There is excomunion, reserved to his Hollyness, for any person whom take, cleared, it sustract, or by any other mean alienate some book, parchment, or paper from this library, without they can't be acquitted (forgive?) until they completly restore them.

Strictly speaking (as a Mediaevalist nerd) that's not a Mediaeval text.

Because it is printed, and I can tell by the text it would not be earlier than sixteenth century, or even, mor likely from the long serifs on the letters, I'd place it as seventeenth.

No printing presses in the Middle ages only hand lettering.

Still looks good, though.

Does a Gutenberg bible, or the printed Psalter, count as a medieval text? There are printed Books of Hours, and that's the epitome of the medieval book...
