A cousin (female?) of my husband has emigrate to the states and live her kids behind (I will kept my mouth shut about my opinion of THAT).
One of her teen daugthers was supoused to spend a few days in our house since she is from out of town. Saturday night his uncle called us really worried asking if the girl was here. Nope, no trace of her.We were very worried.
An hour latter she called us, to her bad luck, hubby answer the phone. My husband is the kind of soft and control man when make a dress down. The girl ask him in a very coquetish tone, if he could be his cover, she just "forget" the cell phone and "miss" the bus, so she was espending the day wih some friends in another city and cant call her family (but call us).
Huby tell her she was old enough for make her decissions and face the consecuences. He will let her choose: calling her guardians personally, or he would do it. The little shit (or is it chit?) opt for calling her granny (soft woman). She always do as she pleased, and her mum is working as a maid in the states, missing everybody. She spend all the money her mum send in expensive clothes. She is a spoil girl.GRRRR.
She will arrived home tomorrow, I has no interest in reciving her. It is a lot of responsabilty, I cant trust her. What if something happend to the girl?

I like your husband. That was exactly the right thing to say to that girl. What a brat. I can understand why the mother would flee the country if her children are so awful. Still, she could have raised them with some responsibility as well. I am sorry you will be stuck with the cousin's child. I will be thinking good thoughts for you.

Thanks. I can't spit to the sky, it could fall right in my face. My kids are still young, hope they wont turn in such a manipulator creature when they grown up.

Why even have her in your home? It seems as if this girl makes trouble wherever she goes. She has already given you a great deal of stress, and she has not even arrived yet. With your health as delicate as it is, and your husband being in the process of working through an episode of depression, having her live (or visit) with you seems like a really bad idea.

Anyway, just my two cents worth.

I have been dying to ask you about your assignment for the Lovedraughts ficathon. Will you share with me what your challenge is, and give some hints as to what you will be writing about?

Hi:

The girl didn't arrive. Don't even call. His uncle hasnt called us, I suspect she is punish, but I won't make any contact just in case...;)
As my assigment, it was a little dull, just a strenght hermione in her seven year, as much in charachter as I could (buhh)
But, what I'm trying to do, is this:
Settled in post Voldemort, Hermione 7 year.
Hermione decided to probe that many wizzarding belives are rubish, she is sick of Lavander, Pavarti and Luna weirdness. So she has a plan: Publish a series of articles in the Quibler with false data. The idea is make the people belived them and then revealled the truth. As a way to probe the need of rigour and critical thinking to the girls.
Everything is going well until a group decided to take it seriously, and tought tht she is revealing serius, dark and secret information, so is necesary to silence her.
Snape is still having a watchfull eye, to catch any kind of reminding death eater activities, his contact alert him of the danger.
Well, that is the general idea, the basic plot is an adaptation of the "Foucault Pendle" a book I read ages ago.
And yours? What is your assingment about?

I'm glad that you don't have to host that girl. When they're wild like that, it's more trouble than it's worth.

I love what you have planned for your story. I laughed because I can just see Hermione doing something like that. Her mind wouldn't even consider that she could be putting herself in danger. I can't wait to read it and I wish you lots of luck and good days for writing.

As for mine . . . My assignee wants:
"Requests: threesome (can be implied/not explicit), somebody's mind ends up in the body of a familiar
Restrictions: no fluffy romance, no mind numbing angst".

I hate writing anything sexually explicit, but I did work something out based on the first request. As for someone's mind in the body of a familiar, I don't like that idea, but will try to do something with it.

Here is what I have so far:

Who done it?
Story follows the investigative Auror(s). OC
Love triangle murder
Prime suspects are SS and HG with the murdered party being the lover of Hermione, but soon they find out that he/She was also involved with Severus.
Story unfolds through investigative work and interviews.

Begins at the crime scene, an abandoned alleyway off Knockturn alley. Where Homicide is called in to investigate a dead body lying in the gutter. Garrotted with a black silk thong, face slashed, fingers cut off, severed penis in mouth "


The rest I will work out in Dramatica. Very likely my finished story will not resemble my outline in the slightest.
