Yes, it was rushed. Maybe is my latn blood here, but I felt this was a more passionate interpretation of HP books. There was much more insight about Harry and the other charachters. For example, the moment in wich he fy with budbeack, it was a sensation of liberty, and the moment when Harry was waiting with Hermone for his "father" to cast the patronus. There was hope and anxiety in Harry, it also portrait how lone was he.Or the farawell to Sirius, the godfather was so tender!, and to the end, wheb the kids are waiting for him to "open" the firebolt, they were so careless and juvenile, I know it wasn't the exact order of things, but it ends the movie with a "good" taste in the mouth: Harry is free to fly. I'm glad what you said about the colors, I quite like those blue and grey tones, it were part of the general pulse of the movie. At the sae time, I like that the casttle room were lest neat, and in more disorder. A more livable castle, one with teens, and magic, and different creatures and lots of things happening. Yes, it's Cuaron's latin aproach, much lss "neat" than the others, true...but neatness bore me.
