I'm really embarrassed and annoyed.
I just check my mail, and saw the debacle my Wiktt post cause. The sinful comment was this one:
"Actually, I'm a Snape/Hermione shipper, I find Rickman handsome, but
I'm not a Rickman/Watson shipper. I mean I can accept a 18 - 38 years
relationship, not a 14 - 50 something, which is Rickman age. The
man, if cool ,is too old for impersonate canon Snape age, he makes a
good Snape at POA but definitely not one for pairing Watson....Unless
they play Lolita."
I agree that people could think different, but starting a flame war? Name calling?
And the worst "I once had a crush on a teacher" post. GRRRRR. Can't they discuss the point, and separate ideas from people. I mean as an intercultural group of course there will be different POV's and we could discuss it. Civilly. The idea wasn't to discuss actors but the difference between them and the characters. I felt for some of them Snape is Rickman, as those people that wrote letters to Sherlock Holmes.
I wrote a private apology letter to the original poster for the bad time and inconvenience my response cause her and another one to the guides.
I will not do it at wiktt so not to start the whole thing again. I think I will use the group as a notice board for updates, and abstain to comment, it is pointless.
