My little poet
Apr. 20th, 2005 12:10 amMy son wrote a poem this evening, part of it was directly written by him (In bold letters, imposible spanish grammar), the rest was dictate by him to me.
Is awsome and scary at the same time.
Scary because he is only 6, how do you rise such an smart and sensitive kid?
Contex:
He was drawing in the PC with a clip art, and found a heart and a thunderbolt.
He start singing, playing with the words, decided to write it, found out that it was better as a poem than as a song. When I ask him what does the poem mean, he refuses to explain, saying it was all about the heart and the thunderbolt he play with.
English version:
There is a a thunderbolt inside me
My heart turn round
Now I don't know what to do
Know, what should I do?, I don't know
my spirit, mi soul has gone
I don't know what to do
In heaven , what should be done?
***
Original Spanish version:
ai un rrayo dentro de mi
mi corason se boltio
ahora ya no se que hacer
ahora ¿que hago?, no se
mi espiritu, mi alma se han ido
ya no se que hacer
en el cielo ¿que hay que hacer?
