Had an interview with Athenea teacher.
She told me she is brilliant (I knew), has strong values (I knew) and intelectual curiosity (I knew) and a marvellous internal world (I knew).

I told her that the last teacher made her very anxious about grades and test and that we don't aprove that. We want her to go at her rithm loving knowledge and not the grades. Also I point to her that I want my child to *relax* with academic work, she don't allow herself to fail, is an over achiever (Hermione Granger is her heroine after all).

So we make a commitment on a "Pedagogy of Failure"; meaning she will need to learn that is ok not to do everything perfect, that she is allow not to know an answer, etc.

The funny thing is that I (re) discovered that I'm a bossy cow. I lecture this poor woman on what I want, but I felt that we were in sintonie and that we have a similar idea of school.
