This is what happend when a catholic religion teacher take a religion test aplaying "critical thinking". Obviously, it wasn't mean to be done in a "decontruction" mood.
The items were just a list of sterotype phrases. Hurrumph!

I had nothing against Islam, Budhism, atheism or whatever. But please, I am a lefty catholic.

I am so glad that I'm not the only one who got bizarre results from that quiz. I was Buddhist (1) and Islam (2), when I'm really closer to Christianity of some sort. It's very inaccurate.

A few month ago I did one aboput politics point of view, I turn up comunist, wich it isn't the case. I like this kind of test as the expresion of the way the "tester" saw the others, in this case religion.

Being Roman Catholic myself, my highest score was 63% on both Christianity and Paganism. Strange as it may sound, I agree with this result...

Well It is funny how this test can't acknoledge the diference inside each religion.
Once I work in an intereligion department, I get along better witj the jewish and methodist teachers than my to all so prudish righty catholic collegues.

I got agnosticism, and I suppose I'm a theist agnostic; I was born, raised in still am quite a liberal Catholic, it's just that I have problems regarding a wholehearted belief in God.

Sometimes religion is studied as a very folkloric way, people can't figured diferentes shades or pov in religion, they seem to see each one in a monolitic way in wich everybody think the same

Half the Catholics don't even know their own faith...only certain statements of the Pope are infallible, not all of them. I think this contributes to the quite blinkered perspective that a lot of them have.

Well, in chile 75% of the population is catholic, so you could find a lot of diversity and ways of believing.
