I agree with you on all of those points. It was that immediate and unabashed reality that really shone in this movie. Those are all Cuaron's touches, which he uses to great effect in e tu mama tambien. I just wish it was more leasurly, instead of rushed. The man is a master of his craft. My problem is more with Kloves, the screenwriter.
